Pledge-Recited. Public Comments-None. Chairman Shubert asked for a motion to approve the renewal of the following All Alcohol (On premises) licenses; Celtic Bistro Corporation d/b/a Bia Bistro,The Corner Stop Eatery d/b/a The Corner Stop,A&S Restaurants, LLC d/b/a Atlantica,V&AA Incorporated d/b/a Ava Cucina, White Crane Incorporated d/b/a Feng Shui Restaurant,Cohasset Pub Corp. d/b/a Mr. Dooley's Old Village Pub, SRK Enterprises, LLC d/b/a Perch 143. Selectman Kennedy moved the motion, seconded by Selectman McCarthy. Selectman Keniley asked about the Selectmen's authority to still take action on a license. Attorney Lampke explained the renewal process and action the Board could take. Selectman Kennedy amended the motion to include approval of the All Alcohol (on premises) licenses as read by Chairman Schubert to include that all renewals tonight are subject to the right of the Selectmen to take administrative action should it deem appropriate. Motion was seconded by Selectman McCarthy and the vote was unanimous (4-0). Chairman Schubert asked for a motion to approve the renewal of the following Wine and Malt(On Premises) licenses; Cohasset Pizza Company, Inc. d/b/a Victoria's, 3A Pizza &Grille d/b/a 3A Pizza & Grille, South Shore Playhouse Associates d/b/a South Shore Music Circus. Motion moved by Selectman Kennedy,seconded by Selectman Keniley and the vote was unanimous (4-0). Chairman Schubert asked for a motion to approve the renewal of the following Innholder All Alcohol (On Premises) license; Cohasset Sarro, Inc. d/b/a Red Lion Inn,Cohasset Harbor Inn, LLC d/b/a Cohasset Harbor Inn. Chairman Schubert asked for a motion to approve the renewal of the following Retail Package(All Alcohol) licenses;A Taste for Wine, Inc. d/b/a A Taste for Wine, Curtis Liquor Stores, Inc. d/b/a Curtis Liquors. Motion moved by Selectman McCarthy,seconded by Selectman Kennedy and the vote was unanimous (4-0). Chairman Schubert asked for a motion to approve the renewal of the following Retail Package(Wine and Malt) licenses; Mullaney's Fish Market, Local Vines and Gourmet, LLC d/b/a Local Vines and Gourmet. Mealy Post#118—The American Legion, Cohasset Golf Club and Papa Ginos. Motion moved by Selectman Kennedy, seconded by Selectman Keniley and the vote was unanimous (4-0). Chairman Schubert asked for a motion to approve the renewal of the following State Entertainment Licenses;A&S Restaurants, LLC d/b/a Atlantica, Cohasset Pub Corp. d/b/a Mr. Dooley's Old Village Pub, South Shore Playhouse Associates d/b/a South Shore Music Circus, Cohasset Sarro, Inc. d/b/a Red Lion Inn,George H. Mealy Post#118—The American Legion and Cohasset Golf Club. Motion moved by Selectman Kennedy, seconded by Selectman McCarthy and the vote was unanimous (4-0). 2 Selectmen's Minutes December 12, 2017 Chairman Schubert asked for a motion to approve the renewal of the following Class I & II (Car Sales, New and Used Vehicles) licenses; W. N. Motors, Inc. d/b/a Coastal Nissan (742 CJCH) and Cohasset Imports (508 CJCH). Motion moved by Selectman Kennedy,seconded by Selectman McCarthy and the vote was unanimous(4-0). Chairman Schubert asked for a motion to approve the renewal of the following Class II (Used Vehicles) licenses; CBK Auto,Jeffrey Pinkus, 547 Beechwood Street,Aristocrat Auto and Truck Sales,Joseph Rosano, 105 Ripley Road,John's Car Care,John Kubik Owner and Elhage Auto Group, LLC. Motion moved by Selectman McCarthy, seconded by Selectman Keniley and the vote was unanimous(4-0). Extension of operating hours for package stores on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve-Chairman Schubert explained that package store hours on Sundays are generally 6 p.m.The State allows for package stores to be open until 11:30 p.m. the day before a holiday. The Town has received a request to remain open until 9 p.m. Motion by Selectman Kennedy to allow package stores to remain open until 9 p.m. on 12/24/17 and 12/31/17, seconded by Selectman Keniley and the vote was unanimous (4-0). Cable Advisory Committee-Draft Town Cable Needs Assessment Survey-Chairman of Cable Advisory Committee Nicole Graebner was present. She stated the Committee is looking for two additional members to replace Pat Martin and Merle Brown. Chairman Graebner discussed the proposed survey. The output from the needs assessment will be translated into the Committee's objectives to be pursued in the negotiation of license requirements during our renewal proceedings, which includes acquiring additional funding. The Board had a brief discussion. Appointment of Member to South Shore Vo-Tech School Committee-Applicant George Cooney-43 James Lane in Cohasset was present and gave an overview of his background in the automotive industry. The Board had a brief discussion. Motion by Selectman McCarthy to appoint George Cooney as the South Shore Vo-Tech Representative for an unexpired term until June 30, 2020,seconded by Selectman Kennedy and the vote was unanimous(4-0). FY18 BOS Meeting Schedule-The Board discussed the proposed schedule. Motion by Selectman McCarthy to approve the FY18 Selectmen schedule as presented, seconded by Selectman Kennedy and the vote was unanimous (4-0). Review of Schedule for 2018 ATM-Mr. Senior reviewed the schedule with the Board. Selectmen Update-Selectman Keniley stated the Long Range Planning Group met last night. It was a good meeting. They discussed the budget. Selectman Kennedy asked if the Selectmen could get an update from the LRPG at an upcoming meeting. Selectman Keniley asked when the interview with the town planner candidate will take place. Mr. Senior stated the interviews are scheduled for Friday 12/15. Chairman Schubert attended the Holiday Stroll. The weather was not great but the event was well attended. He wished everyone Happy Holidays. Town Manager Update-Mr. Senior attended the Holiday Stroll as well and thanked all of the merchants that took part. It was a nice night in the village. On January 101h the winner of the 2501h Logo Contest 3 Selectmen's Minutes December 12, 2017 will be revealed at the Sailing Club. Town hall will be closed 12/25/17 & 1/1/18 for the holidays. Mr. Senior thanked everyone that attended STM. Minutes-Motion by Selectman Kennedy to approve the minutes of 11/14/17, seconded by Selectman Keniley and the vote was unanimous (4-0). Motion by Selectman McCarthy to approve the minutes of 11/28/17, seconded by Selectman Kennedy and the vote was unanimous (4-0). Motion by Selectman Keniley to approve the minutes of 12/4/17, seconded by Selectman McCarthy and the vote was 3-0-1. Selectman Kennedy abstained from the vote. Motion by Selectman Kennedy to adjourn, seconded by Selectman Keniley and the vote was unanimous (4-0).
