Vice Chairman McCarthy called the meeting to order at 7 p.m.

Public Comment-None
Selectmen Update
Selectman Schubert stated as a new Selectman he has been meeting with department heads to
introduce himself and to see what their needs are. Selectman Kennedy wanted to acknowledge that the
town had two big events over the past weekend. The MS Cape Cod Getaway and Cohasset Triathlon
were both successful. The Triathlon ended up being a SK instead of a Triathlon due to the weather. She
reminded residents that the Kids Triathlon is Saturday,July 111h and part of Sohier Street will be closed.
Vice Chairman McCarthy read a notice reminding residents that All Facility Stickers expire on June 301h
Stickers are on sale now in the town clerk's office. He also reminded residents that town hall is closed
on Friday,July V for the independence Day holiday.
Town Manager Report
CAFR Award FY14
Finance Director Mary Gallagher and Treasurer/Collector Paula Linhares were present. Mr.Senior
stated the town received the CAFR Award for FY14 for the 3rd consecutive year. The detailed report is
on the town's website. Mr.Senior thanked the entire finance team for all of their hard work.
Our World Update
Mr.Senior advised the Board that Our World Children's Museum has signed the First Lease Amendment.
He has been having conversations with them for over 6 weeks. He thanked them for all of their hard
work and great programs for the town. The Recreation department will be using the space for the
summer recreation programs. This will be any easy cooperative use of shared space with Recreation
and Library. They have installed a new kitchen and elevator. The Recreation department will be paying
the monthly rent and the utilities. Peter Pescatore-12 Lantern Lane asked if Recreation would be paying
the lender on behalf of Our World. Mr.Senior stated they will make payments directly to Our World
not the lender. Mr. Pescatore asked about the Our World revenue stream. Mr.Senior explained the
only revenue from Our World was payment for the utilities and they were struggling to keep the
payments which is how the conversation got started.
Motion by Selectman Schubert to approve the First Amendment to Lease for the Our World at 100
Sohier Street as presented,seconded by Selectman Kennedy and the vote was unanimous (3-0).

91 Sohier Street Update
Mr. Senior advised the Board that discussion are ongoing regarding the purchase of 91 Sohier Street.
Elder Affairs will continue to use 91 Sohier Street through July. He also spoke with Michael Hurley from
the South Shore Community Center and Elder Affairs will continue to use that space as well. The senior
services will continue seamlessly.
Town Manager Review
Vice Chairman McCarthy suggested the Board form a sub-committee to meet with the HR Consultant
Lisa Uglialoro to review and update the existing performance evaluation form. The sub-committee will
come back to the Board on July 14'h with any recommendations. The sub-committee will consist of
Selectmen Kennedy and Schubert.
Licenses&Permits
Mr. Senior advised the Board that Peel Pizza has taken over the location of 13 Depot Court. They have
another location in Hingham. They have received all of their Board of Health permits.
Motion by Selectman Kennedy to approve the common victualler's license for Peel Pizza at 13 Depot
Court,seconded by Selectman Schubert and the vote was unanimous(3-0).
Annual Reappointments
Motion by Selectman Schubert to appoint Margaret Charles to Registrar of Voters(3 years),seconded
by Selectman Kennedy and the vote was unanimous(3-0).
Motion by Selectman Kennedy to appoint Merle Brown and Paul Carlson(1 year)to Cable Advisory
Committee,seconded by Selectman Schubert and the vote was unanimous(3-0).
Motion by Selectman Schubert to appoint Merle Brown and Paul Carlson(1 year)to Cable Advisory
Board of Directors,seconded by Selectman Kennedy and the vote was unanimous(3-0).
Motion by Selectman Kennedy to appoint Elizabeth Morse to Cohasset Cultural Council (3 years),
seconded by Selectman Schubert and the vote was unanimous(3-0).
Motion by Selectman Schubert to appoint John Coffey,Colin Koch and Annette Sawchuk to Cohasset
Common Historic District Commission(3 years),seconded by Selectman Kennedy and the vote was
unanimous(3-0).
Motion by Selectman Schubert to appoint Paul Kierce,Christine McCarron and Harry St.Onge to Elder
Affairs Board(3 years),seconded by Selectman Kennedy and the vote was unanimous(3-0).
Motion by Selectman Schubert to appoint Jason Soules, Carl Forsythe and Timothy Davis to OPEB
Committee(1 year),seconded by Selectman Kennedy and the vote was unanimous (3-0).
Motion by Selectman Schubert to appoint Peter Goedecke and Benjamin Lacy to Zoning Board of
Appeals (3 years),seconded by Selectman Kennedy and the vote was unanimous (3-0).
Motion by Selectman Kennedy to appoint Maria Plante to Constable(3 years),seconded by Selectman
Schubert and the vote was unanimous (3-0).
Motion by Selectman Schubert to appoint Glenn Pratt to Fence Viewer(1 year),seconded by
Selectman Kennedy and the vote was unanimous(3-0).

Motion by Selectman Schubert to appoint Michael Dickey(Planning Board Rep.)and Susan Sardina

Motion by Selectman Schubert to have an executive session meeting on July 7,2015 for Exceptions 2,
3 &5,seconded by Selectman Kennedy and the vote was unanimous(3-0).
Motion by Selectman Kennedy to adjourn,seconded by Selectman Schubert and the vote was
unanimous(3-0).
