Chairman Kennedy called the meeting to order at 7 p.m.
Pledge of Allegiance
Public Comment
Chief Silvia advised the Board there are redundant fire hydrants on Forest Ave. Some are owned by
Aquarion and some are owned by Cohasset Water. He has recommended capping one of each of the
duplicates as they are not needed.
Selectmen Update
Chairman Kennedy stated the Healing Field is two weeks away and they are looking for volunteers to put
flags up. Anyone that is interested should contact the American Legion.
Town Manager Update
Mr.Senior thanked everyone that helped out and participated in the Annual Town Meeting. All
information is on the town website as well as all information for the upcoming Annual Town Elections.
Mr. Senior advised the Board he will reach out to SSL re; Senior Center to set up a time to have a
conversation. Selectman Quigley stated the Chairs of Advisory and Capital Budget should be involved in
the conversation. Mr.Senior suggested the Board entertain a schedule for Selectmen's meetings for the
reminder of the year. Mr. Senior advised the Board of the plan for the roll out See Click Fix. The work is
ongoing. The Board spoke of putting a discussion on a future agenda to discuss sidewalks and a master
plan. Mr. Senior added the Town needs to decide what to take away from the recent Parking Study that
was done.
Boards and Committees
Chairman Kennedy stated the Board should have quick conversation about how they want to handle the
upcoming appointments. She read the list of positions that are to expire 6/34/1S. The Board suggested
sending letters to existing members to ask if they would like to reapply.
Chairman Kennedy asked for a motion to go into executive session for Exceptions#2,3&6.
(2)To conduct strategy sessions in preparation for negotiations with nonunion personnel or to
conduct collective bargaining sessions or contract negotiations with nonunion personnel. (3)To
discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation if an open meeting may have a
detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigating position of the public body and the chair so declares.
Update on contract negotiations with all bargaining units.(6)To consider the purchase,exchange,
lease or value of real property if the chair declares that an open meeting may have a detrimental
effect on the negotiating position of the public body and the chair does declare.The Board will come

out of executive session for the purpose of adjourning. The Board will discuss the purchase/lease of
91 Sohier Street. Selectman Gjesteby moved the motion and motion was seconded by Selectman
McCarthy.

The board entered into executive session at 8:20 p.m.
Motion by Selectman McCarthy to come out of executive session,seconded by Selectman Gjesteby.

The board came out of executive session at 9:37 p.m.
Motion by Selectman McCarthy to adjourn,seconded by Selectman Gjesteby and the vote was
unanimous(4-0).
