The Alternative Energy Committee convened at Town Meeting to begin socializing the Community Choice Aggregation program. 1) APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES Review and approval of meeting minutes was deferred to November 181" meeting. Tanya noted that the Committee would be meeting on November 181" as well as before the Board of Selectmen on November 19t", and both meetings would be posted to allow for discussion by the Committee members. Alternative Energy Committee Tf AEC - Meeting Minutes ' =- ° ° November 4, 2019 `` ' Cohasset Jr` Massachusetts Page 2 2) COMMITTEE OUTREACH Committee members greeted attendees to Special Town Meeting and provided an overview of the Community Choice Electricity Aggregation program. The posters are included as Attachment A to these minutes. At the end of the Special Town Meeting, Steve Wenner and Mary Jo Larson took the posters to present to the Cohasset Middle/High School. 3) QUARTERLY REPORT The Alternative Energy Committee is scheduled to present to the Board of Selectmen as part of their quarterly updates on Tuesday, November 19. Tanya is preparing a slide deck for presentation to the Board of Selectmen. The committee will be able to review at the next meeting, the day before the presentation to the Board of Selectmen. She thanked everyone for their contributions. 4) MATTERS NOT REASONABLY KNOWN IN ADVANCE Mary Jo noted the role that Patricia was playing with respect to the strategic planning meeting in December and suggested that Patricia should be vice chair. After discussion, Tanya made a motion that Patricia be Vice Chair, Mary Jo seconded, and attendees unanimously approved the motion. 5) ADJOURNMENT A motion was made to adjourn, seconded and unanimously approved at the end of Special Town meeting.
