7:07 PM The meeting was called to order by Chairman Nan Roth
Chris Senior discussed his request that we authorize the transfer of$88,000 from the Reserve Fund to
available cash. This transfer is necessary to cover litigation expenses regarding James Island,the Red
Lion/Cohasset Harbor Inn and the zoning issues for a property on Atlantic Ave.
This request does not cover any expenses associated with the Bound Brook Bridge matter.
Chamillard moved that we approve this transfer,Lieb seconded. The motion was passed 5-0.
Senior also noted that Finance Director Mary Gallagher is retiring later this fall. She has started
documenting her duties for the benefit of her successor. Senior would like to have a member of Advisory
on the screening committee. Roth said that we would discuss this at our June 22 meeting.
The Fall Town Meeting will be mid-October,probably the 16t''. Roth said we would discuss this at our
June 22 meeting.
We discussed how to improve the effectiveness of our budget and warrant article review. Among the
issues are the timing of the receipt of the budget and synchronization with the Board of Selectmen.
Senior mentioned the possibility of doing joint sessions with the selectmen and the School Committee.
Also,maybe a joint meeting with Capital Budget,Advisory and the Board of Selectmen.

Roth asked the members for a list of items to discuss on June 22.
Chamillard stated that most of our work occurs after the budget has been prepared and fixed.
Chapman said we need to discuss the schools budget in more detail.
Roth stated that she has to vacate the chair in December and we need to think about a replacement for her.
At 7:53 PM Chamillard moved that we adjourn, Lieb seconded. The motion passed 5-0.
