REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF SELECTMEN HELD ON JANUARY 5, 1966 All Present Voted: To approve the minutes of December 29, 1965 as submitted. There was a dog hearing on the complaint of Mrs. John Mello, against the dog owned by Joseph F. Kehoe, 28 Bayberry Lane. Voted: To take the above matter under advisement. Voted: To grant permission to the Cohasset Community Center to use the Town Hall auditorium on January 7th for a High School dance and on January 28th for a Variety Show, Voted: To refer Dr. Moriarty' s request for a street light at the corner of Jerusalem Lane at Jerusalem Road, near the junction of Atlantic Avenue to Chief Pelletier for his recommendations, and the Brockton Edison Company in accordance with Chief Pelletier' s recommendations. Voted: To grant permission to the Blue Hill Girl Scout Council Inc. for the use of the Town Hall for rain dates during two weeks summer Day Camp at 'Wheelwright Park from June 27 through June 30, 1966 and July 5 through July 8, 1966. Voted: To grant a building permit to James P. McGee, 27 Hill Street to enlarge kitchen and add a bedroom above. Voted: To appoint the Town Clerk as administrator for the Street Listing for 1966. Voted: To order Mr. James F. Kehoe to keep his dog under restraint at all times. Voted: That the Board Members participate in the above parade, and that Mr. Hurwitz throw out the first ball to start off the opening of the baseball season. June 29, 1966 Informal Meeting re : Investigation Grayken complaint The Board of Selectmen met with Wayne Robbins, Attorney Roger Turner and George Ward in respect to the complaint of John P. Grayken re : possible violation of the Cohasset Zoning By-Laws at the gasoline filling station, 405 North Main Street. Mr. Turner submitted several cancelled checks to the Brockton Edison Company in payment for electricity used for the past three ,years and for gasoline purchases and sales tax during that period. A copy of Certificate of Registration was presented of continuation of gasoline permit and an Affidavit of Frederick '?. Conway stating that the station has never been abandoned, but due to poor health, the gas station has not been operated at full capacity.
