REGULAR MEETiIuG OF THE BOARD OF SELECTMEN HELD ON JANUARY 6, 1965 All Present Voted: To approve the minutes of December 301 1964 as submitted. There was a Jury Drawing for Traverse Civil, returnable February 1, 1965. The name drawn was Francis P. Loughran, Jr. , 85 Hull Street. Voted: To sign the letter to General Hyzer of the U. S. Army Engineer Division, New England, concerning proposed improvement of Cohasset Harbor. Voted: To refer the letter from the Department of Public Works to Blake Thaxter to draw uD the necessary easement from Florence Buckley for the installation of drainage on Forest Avenue. Voted: To write to the Department of Public Works and request that the drainage project on Forest Avenue be advertised for bids. Voted: To accept the recommendation of Howard Bates and award the contract for a pickup truck for the Tree Department to the Cohasset Motors, Inc. at their submitted bid price of tl,775.00. Voted: To approve the Board of 'crater Commissioners articles to be inserted in the 1965 Town Warrant. Voted: To close the Warrant on January 15, 1965 at 4:30 o' clock P.M. The Clergy or representatives of each church were in attendances as was Chief Piepenbrink and Sergeant Kane of the Police Department. One way traffic is to be observed on Highland Avenue and around the Common. This plan will go into effect on April 4th for a trial period of one month.
