Voted: Now that the construction of Cunningham' s Bridge is proceeding
so that progress may be observed, it is fitting that some
recognition of the preparatory work be made. It is here
that the Selectmen wish to record the excellent and devoted
work of the late Ira B. P. Stoughton in all the preliminary
arrangements, the many conferences which he spear-headed
with State and County officials for financial assistance
and the final agreements which were consummated. The
fruit of Mr. Stoughton' s work is now plain to be seen by
every citizen.

There was a ,meeting with the Aaron River Committee.
Present were George E. Haley and Rober C. Briggs.
Louis Bailey, Highway Surveyor was also in attendance.
Notation:
Louis Bailey agreed to look over the situation in Aaron River,
and when the water receeds to a point where it is possible to
go in, lie will endeavor to 41leviate condition of flooding
caused by over rowth and debris. He is willing to spend
approximately K00.00 or so to improve conditions.

( Code of Ethics) of questions which come under the Selectments
jurisdiction.
Voted: To send invitations to the various groups in the town to attend
a meeting about Soil Conservation on Thursday evening, April
18, 1963 at 8 :00 P.m. in the Town Hall.
Voted: To advise Mr. Fred Good to apply for a Sunday Entertainment

There was an informative meeting with a group of residents on Forest
Avenue, Mr. Macklin and others, Mr. George Dexter of the Department
of Public Works, Engineer on the Forest Avenue project, and Mr. Carson,
County Engineer, regarding future plans for drainage and resurfacing of
Forest Avenue.
July 29, 1963
The Board appointed the Election Officers for the year from August 1,
1963 to August 1, 1964 under Chapter 431, Acts of 1960 governing State
Elections. Frederic H. Tilden was appointed as Deputy Inspector to
fill the vacancy caused by the death of Edward R. Jason.
