Woodworth Chittick called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM. BOARD BUSINESS The Board confirmed the next meeting of the Cohasset Zoning Board of Appeals June 4,2019. CONTINUED HEARINGS VARIANCE—Filed by Attorney Richard Henderson,on behalf of his clients, Wayne and Shondra Schmidt. Variance from the required minimum lot width at every point between the frontage street and the nearest point of a building. Variance pursuant§300-5.2.4b and any relief the Board deems appropriate on Howe Road Assessor's Map Page Plot #001, 038; 002. File#19.01.25. In attendance to represent this agenda item: Attorney Richard Henderson Documents used for this hearing: Packet of maps and other supporting documentation. Attorney Henderson addressed the Board. He submitted to the Board various documents for them to review for the next meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals. MOTION BY ASSOCIATE MEMBER WATKINS: TO CONTINUE THE HEARING SECONDED: ASSOCIATE MEMBER McMORRIS VOTE: 3-0 MOTION CARRIES (WC,PG and DM) SPECIAL PERMIT—Filed by Attorney Richard Henderson,on behalf of his client, Cohasset Central Cemetery. Special Permit pursuant §300-9.7.D and any relief the Board deems appropriate. Applicant seeks to construct a seawall and add fill for Flood Control in the Flood Plain at 25 Joy Place. File#19.03.11. There was no additional information needed for this hearing. Special Permit pursuant to 000-8.7 and any relief the Board deems appropriate. Appicant seeks to construct a second story addition over the existing first floor footprint within the side setback at 658 Chief Justice Cushing Highway. File#19.04.09. In attendance to represent the agenda item: Homeowner,Geoffrey Scott Anderson Documents used for this hearing: Zoning Board Application date stamped April 9,2019 Site Plan and Architectural Drawings prepared by Jason E. Beal,A.I.A.,Architect,Dated March 27,2019 and date stamped April 9,2019 Homeowner Geoffrey Scott Anderson addressed the Board and reviewed his plans. He is proposing to build a second story addition on an existing ranch style home. The side setback is non-conforming and therefore there would be an increase of facade in the setback. The Board discussed the site,the setbacks and the septic system. Mr. Goedecke asked that Mr. Scott submit facade calculations to the Board before the next hearing in June.
