Summer Program recap:
A total of 2,831 participants throughout 29 programs with 1100 people attending our concerts
this summer; record number of participants in Playground(294) and Xtreme (336)
Several concerts were moved to the Duck Pond side and saw increased attendance. The
Armstrong Brothers Band was postponed twice and will be on the schedule for next summer.
The Xtreme program saw our first summer with the highest percentage of Cohasset students. Our
field day percentage (40.33%) and field trip percentage (43.14%)was the highest percentage we
have seen with 48 participants each week.
The Playground program had 24 CIT's who volunteered a total of 1,755 hours for a dollar value
of$14,039 of labor. We averaged 233 children a day for an 80%.
The minimum wage increase will affect our program over the next three years.

CORI Policy
The Commission will review the draft policy by Town Council and vote in December for our
Sport Leagues.
Fields: Thom Powers will be invited to our next meeting in October to discuss the shed at
Milliken. Adequate run off will be required for the building. Further discussion will be required
for the Beechwood ball park foul ball problem. Dan Martin will get us information on possible
solutions.
Jack Worley Scholarship: we awarded our first Jack Worley Scholarship to Anya Gruber for
$1,000 this summer.
Fall Program Update: The brochure went out last week. We are hosting a Job Fair in January.
Items for further discussion: donation option on our website; support for a police department
school resource officer. Decisions on new fee structure for Xtreme and Playground by
November.
