Alves, T. Burnieika, V. Froio, T. Goff, J. Hartwell Members Absent: J. DeLorenzo, E. Frazier Others Present: T. Carroll, Director 100 Sohier Street/Milliken Field CPC Article Discussion: Town Meeting re-authorized the CPC funding for the Milliken Shed and 100 Sohier Street exterior improvements. An additional planning meeting will take place with the Town's project management team to move all the projects forward. First goal would be have the team price out the Milliken Field shed than have a neighborhood meeting in early January. LED bulbs will replace the current bulbs at Sohier Street and Beechwood. The Sohier Street basketball project will be able to re-use those bulbs. The tennis courts are not playable and an approval delay in September prevented the courts to have crack repair. Dan Martin, former commissioner, recommended concrete for longer life, estimated costs for 6 courts $600,000. An override would be needed. A request has come in for the rebuilding of the Beechwood portable ice rink. The funding will be requested to the Treasurer/Collector. Harbor Update from Abigail: Meeting coming up the week of 12/16 Open Space and Rec Committee Update from Jeff. A plan will be circulated. Summer Program Review: We will be heading into discussions with the school for the use for the two three week sessions. The Commission endorsed a plan to have the Collins Center review the entire seasonal staffing procedure. An estimate will be forthcoming. Thanks for Giving Race: 589 registered but due to the bitter cold only 360 runners. Chips worked well but the lack of day of race runners hurt the bottom line, expected profit is $4,400 to be split between CC Fund and Rec. Motion to Adjourn: T. Goff 2nd J. Hartwell Vote: 5-0 Meeting duly Adjourned— 8:27 PM Respectfully submitted, Abigail Alves, Chairperson
