Alves, J. DeLorenzo, M. Frame, E. Frazier, G. Froio, K. Mulcahy Members Absent: T. Goff Others Present: T. Carroll, Director, Lisa Uglialoro Motion to Accept Meeting Minutes of 7-18-17 and 9-20-17 as written: Motion: J. DeLorenzo 2"d: G. Froio Vote: 4-0 100 Sohier Street/Milliken Field CPC Article Discussion: Brain Joyce has been working with Mark Gallagher to get all the details for the Milliken Field Shed. The library was disappointed with the commission's request to keep the path closed around the building. Fall Recap: The race was approved by the BOS and sponsor letters have gone out. Parkour and Alphabests programs will be beginning soon. RISE program is doing very well again this year/ Program Numbers: With an update for the Open Space Plan an analysis was done between 2010 and 2016 and programs increased from 250-650, registrations from 2,500 to 13,000 and revenue from 200,000 to 800,000. The 2016-17 RISE program recorded over 10,000 registrations last school year. 75% of eligible Prek-5th graders attended our programs and over 50% of the entire student body was in Rec programs this summer. For the Open Space plan dog parks, skateboard park, roller/street hockey rink, and more sidewalks were listed as a need for. Harbor Committee Update (Mulcahy): Kim updated the commission on the ongoing plan to go out to bid on a professional plan for the Harbor. Next meeting scheduled for Wednesday,November 15, 2017 Motion to Adjourn: J. DeLorenzo 2nd A.
