Meeting Called to Order: 7:04 PM—Chair Frazier

Summer Recap:
A review of the summer program was done both financially and with attendance records. Kate Daley
discusses some of the challenges with the numbers both from a logistic standpoint and with staffing
issues. Some of the highlights included the first year of the nurse, the use of Brian Sasso as a staff
consultant and the stronger presence of the School Resource Officer, Jay St. Ives. Kate was recognized
for the outstanding job she did this summer.
100 Sohier Street/Milliken Field CPC Article Discussion:
Jeramie DiBona, from the Cohasset Soccer Club was present to review the process of the construction of
a replacement building at Milliken Field. Pricing options are being reviewed by the Town's
Procurement Officer. The commission wants to move forward with 100 Sohier Street work as soon as
possible too, with a possible second court and the replacement of the Sohier Street fence. A review of
the Capital Budget Improvement schedule was handed out.
Motion to request the access road around the building remain closed for traffic:

Fall Program Update:
Thanksgiving Road Race will be with a different route this year due to the bridge being out. Beach
Street to Atlantic to Elm Street, Depot Court to Ripley Road and then North Main Street back to Town
Hall. Tara Goodwin is the new coordinator for the RISE school year program.
Next meeting scheduled for Wednesday, October 11, 2017
