Alves, E. Frazier, M. Frame, V. Froio, D. Martin, K. Mulcahy Members Absent: D. Ellinger Others Present: T. Carroll, Director Motion to Accept Meeting Minutes of 11-09-16 as written: Motion: M. Frame 2nd: A. Alves Vote: 6-0 Motion to Accept Meeting Minutes of 12-06-16 as written: Motion: D. Martin 2nd: K. Mulcahy Vote: 5-0 (Frame abstained) 100 Sohier Street/Milliken Field CPC Article Discussion: Bids were opened today for the Milliken Field Project, no update as of meeting time. We are anticipating a need for more funds for the project. Baseball project is moving along and if a new funds and a CPC proposal is needed, the board asks that they meet and get approval from the Commission first. The Commission will ask Bryan Dunkelberger for a plan so they can recommend a plan for 100 Sohier Street, i.e. basketball courts, field space, etc. The Commission discussed the impact of the loss of space and programs if the Town Hall renovation project were to happen and affect our services at both 100 Sohier Street and 55 R South Main. The Commission will draft a statement of their concerns to the BOS. 2017 Summer Update: The Department held a Job Fair the first full week in January and applications are coming in. The Xtreme program filled quickly and we have added a second bus on the two most popular weeks. The next meeting will be Tuesday, February 7th Motion to Adjourn: E. Frazier 2nd D.
