Alves, D. Ellinger, E. Frazier, M. Frame, V. Froio, D. Martin, K. Mulcahy Members Absent: none Others Present: T. Carroll, Director, M. Milanoski, G. Albanese, P. Schubert, L. Uglialoro, M. Milanoski Motion to Accept Meeting Minutes of 10-12-16 as written: Motion: V. Froio 2nd: D. Martin Vote: 7-0 Milliken Field/100 Sohier Street CPC Article Discussion: Mike Milanoski and Greg Albanese representing the baseball diamond club requested the funds earmarked by the Milliken Field CPC article for baseball improvements be processed as soon as possible to have the field work done before the winter so everything will be in place by next spring's baseball season. The Diamond Club along with Ron Ford and Ted Carroll will oversee the project. Motion to approve the CPC money for the baseball project at Milliken Field: Motion: E. Frazier 2na D. Martin Vote: 7-0 Lisa Uglialoro, representing Chris Senior will work with Brian Joyce and procurement to start the bidding out of the Milliken Field project. The Commission reviewed the plans in detail to plan out the scope of work and discuss our options. The Basketball Boosters have asked the Rec Department about adding a second court in conjunction with the 100 Sohier Street project. Town Meeting approved $48,000, the Basketball Boosters have approximately $10,000 from the Hanke fund and the Rec Department made about $2,000 from last summer's basketball league. We received a quote to replace the old fence along Sohier with black vinyl and a new gate at the new street crossing; Dan Martin suggested a price with a bottom rail. We are investigating the leaching field here and more details about a Sohier Street gas line project next year. We will invite the Basketball Booster reps to the next meeting to further discuss. Next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 6th at 7 pm. Motion to Adjourn: V. Froio 2na M.
