Ed Quann: FRMA can take over service calls for grinder pumps.
Leary: We'll double check but fairly certain that contract can stay the way it is.
Sawchuk: Will the rate for these calls increase or decrease?
Quann: They will definitely stay the same if not slightly decrease, sometimes a tech will go out and
can fix a problem with having to bring it back to the shop.
Leary: We've had some residents report being very happy with FRMA.
Quann: We'll send copies of the reports with the invoices. We do in-warranty service.
Beck: The membrane replacement committee meetings are going well,we will be developing a
rubric based on the questions we ask of each vendor.
McGowan: If we could get bids in by October 1st, that would be a good time frame.
Beck: We should be able to do that.
Sawchuk: How is the watertight sewer manhole cover project progressing?
Leary: We will be getting specifications from Dan Coughlin and we will work with Landers to get
a cost estimate.
Sawchuk: We should go ahead and order them and look at how much 40 covers will cost, might be
able to save that way.
McGowan motions to purchase 12 sewer manhole covers at$9,000.00, Beck seconds, unanimous.
Sawchuk: I see that the sinkhole on Stockbridge St. is still not repaired, I will have a paving
company look at it.
