Next Meeting: 10am on Wed.January 16`" at Cohasset Town Hall
Stasko presents plans at Sohier St. for district extension.
Stasko will build all the infrastructure then will turn it back to the town.
Sawchuk: Is the sewer sleeve still available under the railroad tracks.
Engineering should talk to Dan regarding Engineered plan.
Stasko: I use Morse Engineering to engineer design plans.
McGowan: Has reservations because Toll Brothers and Avalon were denied due to lack of capacity.
Stasko: I would be paying to give the entire area sewer, covering a vast majority of that section of the
community.
Coughlin: Find proposed areas so we can determine capacity/flows & loads to the system.
Beck: We didn't know excess capacity at that time. We now have an idea of what our capacity is. South
Main Street has a larger environmental impact than Sohier Street.
Stasko: 21k gpd-seasonally-40k gpd
Coughlin: We can't exceed 360k
Stasko:This would bring us to 380k, using max design to figure out flow.
Coughlin: Next steps are service areas, outline districts flows.
Beck: I'm not going to agree to anything over 360k gpd for the plant. An engineering feasibility would be
beneficial.
Sawchuk: If Tim says yes, do we need DEP approval?Yes
Beck:Timing? What is the timing to implement?ASAP
Stasko: Project completion, 6 months. 18 months to build the building. Approximately 2-3 years to begin
flow to the system. 20 apartments filled immediately, 16k square feet of commercial.
Beck:Are your occupants to be billed for the flow? Retail is billed based on water usage.
Stasko: Looking for some financial relief for infrastructure.
