Re- view of potential connection points and pump stations. Preliminary costs discussed for pipe installation only, no permitting or other infrastructure costs discussed. Petition filed. Not enough information pre- sent for Board to take a formal vote. Betterment Refund-Board votes unanimously to refund sewer connection fee top Edwin and Priscilla Daniels. Property defined as 80 Lantern Lane (Parcel ID: E7-48-026) was deemed undevelopable by the DEP. Betterment in the amount of$5,715.11 to be appropriated. Motion by Beck, second by McGowan, unanimous vote Sewer User Fee-Beck begins discussion regarding new connection fees for the remaining sewer capacity. He would like to level the fees across the collection system. Beck proposes the following EDU and fee schedule: One or Two bedrooms=% EDU-$20k Three or four bedrooms=1 EDU-$40k Each additional bedroom beyond four=% EDU-$10k Sawchuk agrees that the fees should be consistent, however believes the fees outlined by Beck are cost prohibitive for many. He would like to see the fees structured as follows: One or Two bedrooms=% EDU-$17,500k Three or four bedrooms=1 EDU-$35k Each additional bedroom beyond four=% EDU-$8,750k After much discussion the Board unanimously votes on the new fee structure. Motion by McGowan, sec- ond by Beck, Unanimous Abatements- Lou Miscioscia and Elaine Crosby present their reasons for filing for an abatement. They believe they had a material spike in water usage in the summer months due to outside watering and a leaky pool. After discussion, the Board denies their request for an abatement. Board unanimously agrees to grant abatement. Motion by Sawchuk, second by Beck, Unanimous Suez-Scott presents monthly report and highlights the influent pump#2 seal has broken and is leaking. Scott requested quotes and will forward along once received. Lakeside screen has a crack and is evaluat- ing. He notes the Chanel Grinder PLC has been replaced and put on-line. Sewer Admin Position- Board discusses the possibility of making the Sewer Admin a shared resource with the DPW. No formal vote taken.
