July 2014 sub- division was sold and new address is 20 Ocean Ledge Drive, the only property with a sewer connection. The new owner of lot K asked for a sewer connection in 2015 for the main house, but was given only conditional approval because of guest house. A restric- tive covenant recorded in Norfolk Registry of Deeds was worded incorrectly, prohibiting the use of guest house. Attorney Henderson will modify recorder covenant. B. Thomas Grecco Matter- In the past Mr. Grecco objected to being assessed a second EDU for a second connection at 30 Jerusalem Road. He is asking if he pays the EDU cost, can the restrictive covenant be removed. Board agrees to these terms upon payment. C. Chris McKenna- Discussion regarding Grinder Pumps allowed in Cohasset. He is seeking an opinion from the Board. He is interested in a Liberty Pump, but the Board does not have knowledge of this pumps specifications and warranty. Mr. McKenna believes it's in his best interest to purchase an E-One pump through FR Mahoney. Cohasset Board of Sewer Commissioners Page 1 D. Strategic Conversation regarding meeting with Hull-John Beck presents strategy for speaking with Hull. Bill McGowan would like to see more flow sent to Hull at a lesser (wholesale rate). Beck would like a fee structure from Hull that is tied to Cohasset's costs. This would allow the Sewer Commission to address more areas in Cohasset that are in need of sewer.Wayne Sawchuk speaks about ways in which the town can miti- gate cost by extending the sewer district down 3A. He would like to revisit the MBTA plans to see if sleeves were left for potential sewer piping in the future. The Board asked Dan Coughlin to look at potential pathways to expand the sewer district with sending more flow to Hull. Invite BOH to January 17t"'s meeting to discuss possible public health issues. E. Rate increase-John Beck discusses several ways in which to increase rates. Increase only fees, increase only rates, or a combination of rates and fees. No decision has been made, but would like to continue discussions. Board would like to make a recommenda- tion at Town Meeting. Motion to adjourn meeting at 6:05 by McGowan, seconded by Sawchuk, unanimous. Cohasset Board of Sewer Commissioners Page 2
