1. Administration
a. Next Meeting: Scheduled forTuesday,September27@ 4p.m. in the Basement Meeting Room-
Town Hall.
b. Approve Meeting Minutes: noactiontaken
2. New Business
a. 30 Jerusalem Road:Attorney Henderson is present representing Thomas Greco of 30 Jerusalem
Road. Mr. Greco was assessed two betterments in the amount of$56k. In orderto reduce his
betterment payments Mr.Greco agreed to record a restricted covenant giving up his ability to
use his guest house as a rental property. Mr. Greco would like to remove the restricted cove-
nant from his deed and pay the Sewer Commission$28k forthe second betterment forsewer
usage.Attorney Henderson asked the Board to remove the covenant. Motion by McGowan to
release the restricted covenant,second by Sawchuk, unanimous vote.
b. 50 Pond Street:Attorney Henderson representing Ed Mulvi,requesting sewerconnection for
two lots. Board advised Attorney Henderson to have his client fill out application and come be-
fore the Board with a set of plans.
c. King Street:Attorney Henderson representing residents of King Street. Resident would like the
sewer district extended 100feet.Attorney Henderson advised the Board to adopt Rules and
Regulations to extend sewer district. The first step in the process is for the Sewer Commission
to render an opinion, but do not need a vote. Sawchuk believes a public hearing needs to be
held to determine the viability.This requires a 2/3 vote at Town Meeting. McGowan asked how
many EDU's forthis 1932 subdivision.Atty. Henderson stated four EDU's going NE to 3A. Could
be a potential of 11 sewer connections.Sawchuk would like to see a public hearing take place.
Coughlin states there is enough capacityto add 60-65 homes,including the hold back.

d. Board of Health-Susan Sarni:McGowanwouldliketoseeacomprehensivelistofallsepticsys-
tems,sewer connections,and wells.Sarni advised the list would be a longterm project. Sarni
inquiring about variances given.Coughlin stated many properties were approved title 5,with a
list of variances. However,all of those variances should be looked at. Sarni discussed her hot
spots and need forsewer. Atthistime sections of Chief JusticeCushing Highway are causing
public health issues due to failed septic. Sarni would liketo see sewer added forthebusinesses
to connect.The board recognized her need and will take it under advisement. Sawchuk invited
Sarni to future meetings to continue the dialogue.
e. Grinder Pump Warranties:Invite Scott to September 271 meeting to discuss F.R.Mahoney
grinder pump warranty.
f. Review of quote for Channel Grinder-Board members Sawchuk and McGowan review quote in
the amount of$24,641.65 with Coughlin.Coughlin believes quote is in-line with true cost of
parts and labor. McGowan directs Michelle to discuss with Scott to find the true cost and en-
courage him to solicit other quotes.Sawchuk questioning the life of the motor and when it was
last replaced. He does not wantto repair parts that are imminently goingto need replacing.
McGowan would like Scott Papa at the next Sewer Commission meeting to discuss terms of the
Suez contract and their responsibilities.
g. Buckley Condo Association-Abatement approved in the amount of$541.20, Michelle will send
letter advising homeowner of the abatement.
h. Root treatment-Coughlin stated the roottreatment project will be completed Friday,Septem-

Motion by McGowan to adjourn meetingat6:50, seconded by Sawchuk. Unanimousvote.
