Minutes of Meeting
Monday, February 4, 2019
Cohasset Town Hall
Present: Jackie Dormitzer, Merle Brown, Noel Collins, Julia H.Gleason, Suzanne Wadsworth
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M.
Oil House- Jackie presented the application to CPC on January 25, 2019. As the restoration
cost exceeds $10,000—,_three estimates are required and sought. The only response was from
West Mill. A{ppebabl decision from CPC is pending.
Engineer's Office Sign- David HeSten Hassan prevides provided an estimate of$654.00 includ-
ing installation as well as a proposed sketch. They were accepted and approved. The sign will
be located aIGRg-on the side of the building facing the driveway to the Engineer's Office.
Replica Foundation-Research suggests that the replica sits on the foundation for a stonecutter's

The ramp needs rehabilitation. Simple language for a descriptive sign should be considered.
Landscaping-Attention to improving the landscaping should be aaee iven in the spring.
Inventory- As we already have 2,200 properties listed on Macris and they show a very good
representation of the variety of historic buildings in town, it was agreed that our efforts should go
towards amending the data to show buildings that have been razed. A list of such buildings is
progress.
Future Projects- Restoration of Captains Walk signs and posts.
Resignation and Appointment- Suzanne Wadsworth resigned as secretary. The chair appointed
Noel Collins to succeed her.
