Meeting called to order at 7:05 PM.
7:05 PM: NOI 1-13 121 Jerusalem Rd—Mallon—Elevate Existing Home

Documents presented to support agenda item: NOI Application and Plan; Photos; Landscaping Plan
The applicant proposes to elevate the current dwelling on the existing footprint to attain flood compliance.
Elevations show that everything below the finished floor is in the flood plain and Little Harbor could be impacted
in a major storm event by debris and materials from the basement.
MOTION: By Member Kennedy to close the public hearing for 121 Jerusalem Road and issue an
Order of Condition for the proposed work with a specific condition requiring that the
applicant submit a construction staging plan acceptable to Conservation Agent
Jeff Summers showing that all construction equipment and materials on site be kept as
far from the resource areas to the most practical extent possible.

VOTE: 5-0 Unanimous
MOTION: By Member Kennedy to close the public hearing for 121 Jerusalem Road and issue a
variance for the proposed work within the 50-ft.buffer zone.

Documents presented to support agenda item:Stormwater Application;Aerial Photograph with Overlay;
Landscaping Plan; Revised Site Plan
The area has been staked and a Landscaping Plan has been submitted as requested.The abutters are
concerned with runoff impacting their property. Greg Morse explained that stormwater runoff from the roof area
will be directed into two dry wells and that crushed stone infiltration trenches on either side of the driveway will
also capture runoff. Member MacFarlane asked about a rain garden to minimize flow onto abutting properties
but Greg Morse said that holding back too much water would affect the intermittent stream and other natural
situations on the site from being fed.There is also a pressure sewer system planned for the driveway.
MOTION: By Member Kennedy to close the public hearing and issue Storwater Permit 18-19 for
proposed construction at Lot 4B,Tad Lane

Conservation Agent Update:
Jeff Summers reported that the revisions for 2 Smith Place have been received by staff.
He is still working on the fines for unpermitted tree removal at 139 King Street by Matt Shannon.
