Chairman Bonetti called the meeting to order at 7:07 p.m.
Trustees of the Reservation-Nike Building-Dick Avery-22 Surrey Drive was present on behalf of the
Turkey Hill &Cohasset Conservation Trust and the Boy Scouts. Mr.Avery stated the Assessors are
researching how the property is divided up. They are requesting$10,000 for the project to secure the
integrity of the building including replacing the roof. Motion by Diane Kennedy to recommend funding
up to$10,000 for the Nike Missile site interconnect building project subject to the application being
amended by the owner of the property and acceptance of the Conservation Restriction,seconded by
Alex Koines and the vote was unanimous(7-0).
Historical Society-HVAC System-Kathy O'Malley was present on behalf of the Historical Society.
Chairman Bonetti stated the estimate for the HVAC System came in at$38,000. The Historical Society is
committed to contribute$9500. The Committee had a brief discussion. Motion by Suzanne
Wadsworth to recommend funding for the Historical Society HVAC System not to exceed $30,000 with
the understanding that the Cohasset Historical Society has committed to contributing$9500,
seconded by Susan Sardina and the vote was unanimous (7-0).
Town Hall Building Committee-Town Hall Project-Chairman Mary McGoldrick was present along with
member Carolyn Coffey. Mrs. McGoldrick showed the schematic designs for the proposed town hall
project. The estimates should be back by the beginning of next week. The Town Hall Building
Committee is meeting with Capital Budget on Monday,they will then meet with Cohasset Common
Historic District Commission, Advisory and then the Board of Selectmen on 4/11/18. After some
discussion the Committee agreed to hold off on the vote until they have the dollar amount. Mrs.
McGoldrick will email cost information when they receive.
Chairman Bonetti reminded everyone that they still have an opening on the Committee for a citizen at
large.
The next meeting is 4/9/18.
Minutes- Motion by Michael Dickey to approve the minutes of 3/12/18,seconded by Alex Koines and
the vote was unanimous(7-0).
The meeting adjourned at 8:54 p.m.
