Hall.
Members present:John Coffey, Nick Noon,Annette Sawchuck, Garry Gardner,Jacqueline Clark.
Members absent:
Gordon Stevenson, Colin Koch,Peter Wood, Mark Toomey.
Old Business:
Electrical Box ( Eagle Scout Project) J.T. Coffey. Up-date: He has met all requirements of appropriate
town entities. He will begin construction this week-end.
New Business:
Two persons representing Seniors @ Senior Center spoke re:this group's interest in adding
additional benches for ease of seniors wishing to sit while enjoying Common and its many events.
Initially discussed was the replacement of a bench on the North Main Street side of the area south of
the Meeting House in same style as the existing one, nearest to town hail,also located south of
Meeting House.The issue of additional benches north of the Meeting House was raised by
senior representatives and a request for a commemorative plaque on approved bench.
Commemorative plaque not approved citing committee's wish to not create future appearance of
memorial park.
Additional benches not discussed further beyond the need, at some future time,for a master plan for
entire Cohasset Common.
Their certificate not present and requires next step to be taken by committee and relayed to
them.They will research market for duplicate of existing bench.
There being no further business, meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
