Members present: Colin Koch, Gordon Stevenson,Nick Noon, Annette Sawchuck, Jackie Clark,
Peter Wood, and John Coffey
Members absent: Yasmin Landy
Guests: Margaret Cotter, Susan Pyle, Susie Davis, and Andy Swanson
New Business:
1. Cohasset Garden Club are donating a several cherry trees to replace removed or damaged
trees around the Common. Also new name plates with their scientific names as well as English
will be attached to each tree. The Tree and Park Department will also be starting a program to
replace the older diseased trees in conjunction with Bartlett Tree (Daryl Rappaport). There is the
possibility of the Garden Club taking preparing a master plan of the trees. Question of timing.
The CCHD will initiate the necessary approval.
Old Business: New member. Mark Toomey, 55 North Main Street will be recommended to the
BOS to fill a vacant seat on the committee. Yasmin Landy has resigned as she is moving out of
town. There is still an opening for a member and also for an architect.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
