HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - CCHDC - 09/26/2017 The CCHD met on 9/26/17/2017, at 7:10 p.m. at the Cohasset Town Hall. Members present: Gordon Stevenson, Mark Toomey, Annette Sawchuck, Jackie Clark, Peter Wood,John Coffey& Garry Gardner. Members absent: Nick Noon. Guests: Roger Maroni, David Buick,Jay Corvan , Connie Noon, Wayne Sawchuck, Sam Wakeman,Mary McGoldrick, Josiah Stevenson , Eric Eisenhauer, Kelli Gildea&Carolyn Coffey. New Business: Noon, I 1 North Main Street. Construct 3 dormers on the attic floor. Will be facing the downtown. Casement windows, muttons inside and out to follow the architecture of existing windows. Trim to be Essex green. Community Center will be notified. Certificate will be issued. Eisenhower, 41 North Main Street. A picket fence was added prior to approval of the committee. It is approximately 660' and when finished will be painted white. Was placed to secure their dogs in the backyard. After discussion after the fact permit to be issued. Possible new application will be forthcoming regarding a circular driveway in the front and large garden to the left of the house. Old Business: TRACC/Mary McGoldrick and Josiah Stevenson gave an update. All town offices on the I'floor. Atrium is still included in the plans. The TIH will stay on the Common. No other sites being considered. The "old"town hall has no current planned changes. This plan was the 3'of 4 potential designs. A potential (perhaps) final meeting with the CCHD will be held in October. Some questions from the audience were regarding grading, roof shingles-type, and the atrium. Meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m. 1: Gildea, 31 Highland Ave. Revised garage plan was presented. Will basically be the same design as presented previously but will be scaled down in size to accommodate ZBA concerns. Approved by the Commission. 2. Electrical box (Eagle Scout Project)J.T. Coffey is working with the DPW, along with the town electrician. The design will be colonial architecture. He will report back to the Commission at a future date. There being no further business, meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
