HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - CBC - 02/25/2019 Capital Budget Committee February 25, 2019 Minutes Approved 3/11/2019 3-0 CBC Members Present: Wakeman, Host, Dormitzer, Lyons Mr. Wakeman opened the meeting at 1910 with the above quorum present. Others present: Jackie Dormitzer, Merle Brown, Chris Senior, Michael Dick Jackie Dormitzer and Merle Brown presented plans to rehabilitate Oil Storag3e Shed at Government Island. This involves repointing brick, replacing door, replacing trim, and repairing floor. Estimated cost approximately $18,000. It is expected that CPC will provide funding. We reviewed and critiqued three prioritization spread sheets. We felt we needed to more closely define the headings and the point allocation. We will average the point ranking on 4 different sheets and see what that does. All agreed this could be a useful tool but that it needed more work. Chris Senior announced that the $200,000 savings on health insurance would definitely be applied to the FY20 Capital Stabilization Fund. The projected $500,000 from Free Cash would not be known as definite until the books close on June 30. We will meet Monday to review FY20 requests, status of Capital Stabilization fund with different revenues, and hopefully vote on recommendations for FY20. There being no further business we voted to adjourn at 21 :45PM Respectfully submitted Sam Wakeman
