BUSINESS:
• RESIDENTIAL EXEMPTION REVIEW FOR FY 18 Motion by DK
not to recommend the Residential Exemption for Cohasset to Board of
Selectmen. Reviewed the subject at length and the impact of the
exemption would be too great for a specific class of residents and not b
benefit the majority of Cohasset. Second by MB, All in favor 3-0.
• DISCUSSION ON VALUE & NEIGHBORHOOD CLASS FOR
SPECIFIC PROPERTY WITH MAPS AND PROPERTY RECORD
CARDS (CONTINUED FROM 11/29/16) Discussed property at
length will anticipate a overvaluation appeal from property owner.
Inspection requested today via Assessors' notice at property address.
Observed view of Little Harbor and Atlantic Ocean.
• DISCUSSION ATLANTIC AVENUE MULTIPLE LOTS WITH NEW
HOUSE Until a recorded Land Court Plan is available for the Board
of Assessors to review, it would be premature to act on this matter.
• APPROVE MEETING MINUTES of Tuesday, November 29, 2016
Motion by DK to accept Minutes of November 29, 2016 as read, second
MG, All in favor 3-0
• NEW BUSINESS: Motion by MG Director of Assessing to notify
Board Members before forms are submitted in Gateway and to allow
for a review period. Generate Current/Previous Valuation Report for
Assessors'review prior to submission. Second MB, All in favor 3-0
