Ms. Dahlstrom will contact Mr. Menard, the Town IT Director, to reset new passwords for Mr. Lawrence
and Mr. Dickstein on the town's remote site.

The board had not received the minutes and will approve them at the next meeting.

Community Outreach/Meetings:
• 2.09.16 Wellness Committee meeting discussion about planning future programs for Town of
Cohasset employees. Currently the town offers yoga/Pilates.
• 2.17.16 Ms. Goodwin met with the Cohasset Police Department to develop an outreach program
to follow up with any resident who has received emergency services for an overdose. The folks
working on the plan are Chief Quigley, Officer Paul Wilson, Susan Sarni, Christine Murphy, from
Safe Harbors Cohasset Coalition and Mary Goodwin.
Ms. Goodwin and Chief Quigley drew up a letter to send to the families of those patients who were
recently treated for an overdose. Enclosed with the letter is information about treatment centers,

support groups, a pamphlet on signs of an overdose and resources for help along with information on
Narcan. After the letter is sent out a follow up call from either the Cohasset Police Department or the
Public Health Nurse will be made to the patient's family.
The CDC has issued newguidelines for prescribing opioids which includes ibuprofen, Tylenol and physical
therapy as options for pain management. For patients in crisis, Cohasset contacts BEST Team. They will
visit patients at home or refer them to a center.
Upcoming Events:
Health and Recreation Fair at Deer Hill School on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 1pm to 4pm
7:20 P.M. DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC HEALTH REPORT
Drug Free Communities Grant: Ms. Sarni is still working with Christine Murphy, Safe Harbor Cohasset
Coalition, in applying in partnership for the Drug Free Communities Grant. The deadline is March 18,
2016. If the grant is awarded to Cohasset the BOH will be able to hire a full time drug educator for the
town along with offering presentations, education and community outreach.
Emergency Preparedness: This fiscal year the BOH purchased cots, field clothing, bug spray and
sunscreen with the $4800 from the state. The BOH is also looking into purchasing a stretcher.
Farmers Market: Applications to participate in the Farmer's Market are starting to come in. The
applications are now available online. The first date for the Farmers Market is June 9, 2016.

On November 19, 2015, Mr. Charles came before the board and was ordered to pump the tight tank
quarterly. On November 30, 2015 a letter was sent to Mr. Charles with specific deadlines for pumping
the tight tank and to notify the BOH within seven days of pumping. The first date for Mr. Charles to
comply was on February 17, 2016. The BOH was not notified within a week of the deadline. The BOH
sent a certified letter for Mr. Charles to come before the board. On March 1, 2016 the BOH received a
report from Rosano Davis dated February 29, 2016 that the tank was pumped and the alarm was in need
of repair. The board requires Mr. Charles to have a new septic alarm installed and a report with
documentation this was completed by March 18, 2016. The next pumping date is May 17, 2016. Mr.
Charles was given a copy of the letter with the pumping dates for the remainder of 2016. The board
suggested for Mr. Charles to arrange for a pump the week before to ensure the tank will be pumped on
time.

Outback Engineering changed the location of the leaching field.The four test pits are now in the leaching
field. No variances are requested.
MOTION: By Member Robin Lawrence to approve Outback plans for 134 Forest Avenue, Lot 5A,
dated 6/20/13, revised 2/25/16 contingent on installation of the well and the soil absorption system
must be excavated prior to pouring the foundation. Prior to installing the Septic Disposal System a
Water Supply Certificate must be issued by the BOH

134 Forest Avenue: The potable well is proposed to be placed in the back of the house with 100' radius
from the soil absorption system septic field.The well contractor will determine the depth of the potable
well.The water supply certificate must be issued prior to the issuance of a building permit.

Avenue, Lot 5A, dated 12/16/15 and revised 3/10/16. Prior to building permit a Water Supply
Certificate must be issued to the BOH

146 Forest Avenue: Outback Engineering relocated the test pits and field from the original plan. This set
has the required one test in the reserve and two in the test pits.
MOTION: By Member Robin Lawrence to approve Outback plans for 146 Forest Avenue, Lot 4A,
dated 6/20/13, revised 2/25/16 contingent on installation of the well and the soil absorption system
must be excavated prior to pouring the foundation. Prior to installing the Septic Disposal System a
Water Supply Certificate must be issued by the BOH
