Chairman Kennedy called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. Roll Call Vote; Kevin McCarthy-Present,Jack
Keniley-Present, Paul Schubert-Present, Diane Kennedy-Present,Steve Gaumer-Present.
Facilitator Debra Thompson introduced herself and asked each member to share some good news,what
they would like to accomplish tonight and how they see themselves in this process.
Selectman Keniley stated his good news was he just visited his son at Perdue and he is doing great. He
expects the Board can agree on 5 issues tonight and work over the next 6 months to complete. He sees
his role as an innovator.
Selectman Schubert stated he witnessed hard work today at the hospital. Over the past couple of years,
there has been a lot of work to get Narcan available to the public and through hard work the Governor's
office and Mr. Grayken it is a reality. They handed some out today at South Shore Hospital. He would
like to see the goals finalized tonight. His role is to help facilitate the process.
Chairman Kennedy stated her good news is forthcoming. She is going on vacation next week to
Colorado to visit family. She would like to leave tonight with action steps for the Board's goals. She sees
her role as a consensus building and rule follower. She added the Board needs a measurable outcome.
Selectman Gaumer said his good news is that he arrived at work before 8 a.m., came home and raked
the yard, eat dinner and made it to tonight's meeting on time. He hopes the Board agrees on the goals
and can complete them. He sees his role as a skeptic.
Selectman McCarthy said his good news was that he was approached by a resident today and they
complimented him on how impressed they were with the current Selectmen. He hopes that the Board
can agree on at least 3 measurable goals. He sees his role as stimulating the group via the use of social
media and as a reasoning discourse.
Ms.Thompson stated she grew up and went to school on the South Shore and moved to the United
Kingdom for 30 years. She moved back to Cohasset three years ago. Her role tonight is to find ways of
asking questions and get answers to the questions the group has. The expectations from the Board
must be open and honest.
The Board had a lengthy discussion about their goals and where they are at this time. (see below).

Ms.Thompson advised each member to come to the next meeting and give their plan for their goal over
the next 3 months.
Motion by Selectman Schubert to adjourn, seconded by Selectman Gaumer and the vote was
unanimous(5-0).
The meeting adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
